Christine Aurelia Baughman Malone

Christine Arurelia Malone, 93, of Oakton, VA, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2018. Beloved wife of Arthur Mahlon Malone; devoted and loving mother of Pamela A. Vogel (Paul) and Cynthia L. Franklin (Dave); sister of the late Charles A. Baughman; grandmother of Melissa Vogel and Darren Franklin. She is also survived by two great-granddaughters and a great-grandson who will make his appearance in May.
Christine was a lifelong resident of Fairfax County and a graduate of Fairfax High School. She was born on the family farm on Blake Lane in Oakton, VA. She resided there and raised her family at her beloved homeplace.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 16, from 1:00 – 2:00 pm at Fairfax Baptist Church; 10830 Main Street, Fairfax, VA. The funeral service will follow visitation.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, Riverside Tappahannock Hospice or Fairfax Baptist Church.

A candle was lit for the decedent.
Christine and Art were members of Fairfax Baptist Church for many years. They always had a smile whenever they were greeted. They were missed greatly when they no longer could attend. That side of the church just didn’t look right. I always sent them a birthday card with a note to each, respectively. I pray Art will be able to find peace. My love and condolences to the entire family!
