Faye Elizabeth Morin, age 87, died peacefully at her home in Fairfax VA Monday morning September 25th, 2017. Born in her grandmother’s home on January 22, 1930 in Stoney Creek PA, she was the only child of Ruth Naomi Berkey. Faye attended nursing school in Cumberland MD and was a respected nurse anesthetist working in hospitals in Pittsburgh PA. After transferring to Vienna VA in 1971 with her husband, she worked as a nurse at Vienna Pediatrics until retiring. Faye was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years William John Morin of Somerset PA and is survived by her five children, Timothy X of Richmond VA, Michael K, David S and Therese A Michel, all of Oak Hill, Va, and Lisa Wisner of Ashburn, VA, as well as her beloved ten grandchildren. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother who provided her family happiness and unconditional love. Her family was first with her at all times. She made this world a better place and will be remembered always as Mom-Mom. The Funeral Mass will be on Friday September 29th at 11:30am at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Vienna VA. Interment will be held following Mass at St Mary’s Historic Church Cemetery on Fairfax Station Road in Fairfax Station, VA.
