Guestbook

  1. Henry will be missed by his many friends he has made during his lifetime. I met Henry when we first started to work for Mobil Oil in Beaumont, Texas almost 50 years ago. I’ll always remember his genuine friendliness and never ending smile and cherish his friendship.

  2. Brenda, I think when you met Henry and married him everyone one in family loved him from the start. You could tell just from talking to him he was honest, smart , a good listener, and very interesting. What quality I really like about him you could tell that he love Brent as his own. A wonderful quality in a man. The two of you shared a wonderful, adventurous, fun life with a host of friends that most people only dream of, and I know you will miss his smile, and that beautiful head of hair that you loved. Thankful that he was in our family.

  3. May you receive comfort from the word of God during this time of loss. The Bible’s resurrection accounts give us a sure hope (John 11:39-44). Yes, one day death, mourning, and outcry will end. “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” (Revelation 21:4) Under Jesus’ kingdom rule we have this and much more to look forward to. Please accept my sincere condolences to family and friends. For further encouragement , please go to jw.org.

  4. I am so sorry for your loss. May the words of our loving heavenly Father bring your family comfort and strength during this most difficult time as He promises to bring our loved ones back to life in a perfect world where there will be no more suffering or death (John 5:28-29 & Revelation 21:4).

  5. Brenda, you and Henry have been part of our “extended” family for many years. The many holidays that we shared, the weddings, the birth of the grandchildren, etc.– it has been a long and wonderful journey. His love for you and his family was always so evident. I am so glad you and Henry got to travel the world and share so many wonderful, exciting times in retirement. He was indeed one of the “really good” guys. We will miss him. Sending our love to you, Brenda, and all the family. Vicki & David Herrington

  6. Beloved neighbor, Henry. You are missed. We will always think of you when we are outside enjoying our day as you were often around us in the neighborhood, smiling, enjoying life to the fullest. I feel blessed knowing you. My prayers are with you dear Brenda and your family. Love, The Norman family

  7. “My deepest Sympathy go to the Hornbeck family, may your memories of your loss loved one comfort you and your family today and always, please take comfort in God’s word at 2 Corinthians 1:3 “Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort”. jw.org
