Mario P Sasso, 79, of McLean, VA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 4. Loving husband of Lynn M. Sasso; father of Lisa M. Lang, Kimberly D. Cooper, Pietro A. Sasso and Lisa Damiano; grandfather of five and brother of Victoria Salerno. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 8, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Money and King Funeral Home; 171 W Maple Ave; Vienna, VA. A funeral mass will be celebrated Friday, March 9 at 10:00 am at St. James Catholic Church; 905 Park Ave; Falls Church, VA. Interment will follow at Columbia Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Hospice Foundation of America.

Dear Lynn Peter and family just today got this sad news from Pete on facebook, I am so shocked,so so sad,I have Loved Mario for many many years,we were like brother and sister,back in the 60’s for a few years Mario,me and my husband saw one another every day,did everything together,it was always the three of us, then when Mario met Lynn,he wanted me to like her,he was so in Love,and when I got to meet Lynn,Liked and Loved her right away and was so happy Mario had found such a wonderful young girl,and she was so pretty,then they had their wonderful Son.Ihave the most wondrful memories of our friendship with Mario,this guy was so so handsome,so loving,kind,always wanted to help everyone,he collected people,he loved people,I will miss my wonderful Italian friend,I am so sorry for your loss,wish this were not true take care and remember all the good times love Theresa
