Michael J. Bensen, 25, of Vienna, VA. Beloved son of Judith Wilson and Roy Bensen, cherished brother of Hannah Bensen, grandson of Betty Bensen, Jim and Lillian Wilson, and beloved boyfriend of Marisa Caddell. He is also survived by his great aunt Mike; his aunts Nancy, Patty, Jane and Laura; his uncle Matt; his cousins Patrick, Bridget, Melissa, and Jessica. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation with the family at Money and King Funeral Home, 171 W. Maple Avenue Vienna, VA on Friday, February 2 from 6-8 p.m. A Life Celebration Memorial Service will be held at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 2589 Chain Bridge Road, Vienna, VA on Saturday, February 3 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions may also be made to Boy Scouts of America.

It is with heavy heart I say goodbye to Michael. He was my student in EMT class and I am shocked at his passing. His heart was large and his soul was good. Praying for him and his family!
I am so sorry to hear about this! I was Michael’s high school math teacher and he was a wonderful young man. I had the pleasure of writing an Eagle Scout recommendation for him. Pray for you all.

Judy, Roy, and Hannah,
I am so sorry to hear about Michael. It was great talking to him at Hannah’s back-to-school party. I will miss buying him apple donuts from The Apple House. My prayers are with you.

I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of Michael. My sincere condolences go to you all. Please remember that God cares about you and “is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit”. He knows your pain, and promises that there will be a resurrection so we can see those we have lost again.
Judy and Roy I am so saddened by your loss of Michael. I have many fond memories of the days going back to VYI and all of our boys playing together. You both are in my prayers.
