Nancy Lynn Terrett
August 21, 1954 ~ August 31, 2018
Nancy Lynn Terrett passed away unexpectedly at her home on August 31, 2018. She was 64.
She is survived by her children; Stephen Simmons, Jamie Simmons and wife Melissa and their two sons, Cole and Jackson Simmons; her father, Stuart Terrett III, and her brother Stuart Terrett and wife Lauren and their children, Stuart and wife Kate Terrett, Andrew Terrett, Juliana Schepp, and Savannah Schepp; her niece Taylor and husband BJ Urbani and her nephew Wesley Harrington.
Preceding her in death are her Mother Elizabeth Ann Terrett, her sister Susanne Marie Harrington and sister Marjory Ann Terrett and nephew Dylan Harrington.
Nancy was born on August 21, 1954 in Washington, DC. She graduated from Fairfax high school in 1972. She has lived in the Tyson Towers Community for over twenty years, where she developed many wonderful and lasting friendships. Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2018, from 5-7pm at Money and King Funeral Home, 171 West Maple Avenue in Vienna, Virginia.

To my big sister Nancy, here are some photos I found. I had the chance to stay with her for almost a week in late August and it was great to have so much time together and to meet some of her wonderful friends Nancy lived in Tyson Towers for over 20 years and was blessed with many wonderful and supportive friends. We miss you but know you are in an even better place

Also, expressing our feelings in prayer to God is more than good therapy or a means of organizing our thoughts. It actually helps us to establish a personal relationship with our Creator, who can use his power to comfort us. As the Bible reassures us, “Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God.”
2 Corinthians chapter 1 verses 3 and 4
Another help is to imagine a time in the future when those in the grave will be brought back to life here on earth! The Bible repeatedly speaks of such a time. Describing what conditions on earth will then be like, the Bible states that God “will wipe out every tear from [our] eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.” Revelation chapter 21, verses 3 and 4.

Nancy was a wonderful soul. My whole life, she was there as my kind cousin who always had time and love for everyone. I’ll always love and remember her. Love, Kelly Campbell
