Steven B. Zaboji, beloved husband and father, marketing executive, pilot, and Reston resident died on October 7, 2017. Surviving are his wife Susan; children Cameron, Steven and Christopher; son-in-law Kevin; grandson John; and brother George. Born in Budapest, Hungary on June 25, 1941, he then moved to Germany and finally settled in the Wash., DC area in 1963. He founded Balaton Marketing, Inc. in 1972 and enjoyed more than 50 years in the consumer electronics industry, representing many high-end brands. Steve also founded The Virtual Representative, an e-newsletter service. A highly experienced pilot, he logged 14,000 hours of flight time in a wide variety of single and multi-engine aircraft and was a flight instructor and mentor to many in the aviation community. Steve was also a frequent writer and speaker for aviation and consumer electronics publications and organizations. Visitation Mon., 10/16, 6-8pm Money & King, Vienna, VA; Memorial Service 10/17 Tues. 1:30pm Vienna Presby. Church, Vienna, VA. Donations may be made to Angel Flight Mid-Atlantic.
