  1. My Grandpa was a very special man and I will miss him very much! I know he is up in Heaven by Grandma Marie’s side and also stirring up trouble with Uncle Bill and Uncle Romeo. Love ya Grandpa!

  2. I remember what a nice gentleman Mr. Moran was, feisty and funny- and how much his family loved him. God bless you all….

  3. I met Al at Greenspring when he told me he was at my parents’ wedding in 1928. Al’s mother was Dan DeCourcy’s sister. Al called him Uncle Dan and I called him Grampy. Bertha and Dan DeCourcy raised my father, Bill, his older brother, Henry and younger sister, Mary, when their mother, Eva, Bertha’s sister, died. Al was about 10 years younger than my Dad. We were not related but I felt Al was sort of an uncle I had never met. We were happy he came to Greenspring so we could meet him. It was like family when Glady and talked with him which we often did. He had a great memory and told stories about the DeCourcy, Moran, Mann, Donovan, McKenny, Wilcox and Kenyon families. Al always made me feel good when he’d say, “I knew your mother and she was a wonderful woman.” We ask the Lord to bless him and give him a good seat right up front.
