He was a loving father and grandfather who was generous of heart and mind to all those that knew him. He touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity, and maintained his trademark sense of humor all the way to the end. Family and friends are invited to the memorial service held at Money & King Funeral Home on Monday, May 7th at 11:00 am.
Dear Mr. Ali,
One of my most precious memory with you is a memory I will forever cherish. I will never forget the evening of Bijan’s concert where I ran into you and your beautiful daughter Nazgol. At that time Nazgol and I were not on speaking terms because we were young and stupid. When I sow you at the concert I was so happy to see you both but I was too shy to say hello… perhaps you felt my love for you and for Nazgol that somehow you made it so easy for me and Nazgol to speak that night and ever since that night me and Nazgol became sisters for life. I thank you from the bottom of my heart, because you were our angel that night and you will forever be our angel. I look at your photo and right away I feel your sweet warm smile and I know you are resting and you are in a better place. Until we all meet again one day sleep well and sweet dreams. With all my love, Lara Dizeyee

Words are not enough to express how I feel about your loss and I feel your hurt. I know that losing a father in life is like losing a shelter.
The reality is that you will grief forever, but he will be always present in your thoughts and harts.
I will always cherish Mr. Ali’s kind words and big smile that he had for me whenever I saw him. And I will always have two things in common with him which is the love of his family and the taste of a great crushed red pepper.
I really believe that he is watching you all, so hold on to memories of him and stay strong.
My condolences and love.

A beautiful father who gave life to two beautiful daughters. Be well in heaven.
You stood strong, with deeply planted roots; the foundation of our family. Your branches shook with laughter and captivated us all. You brought us together time and time again, and offered us a home. In your heart we will stay forever as you will stay in ours. The gratitude and love we feel will forever live on. Your soul will forever live on. As an old singular tree, you will forever stand. Your leaves will soon grow with our memories of you. The smiles, laughs, compliments, and hum-hums. The shelter you provided holds a solid foundation because you, Papa Ali, lived to build it. In our hearts, thoughts, and prayers. Forever & Always. May your roots grow deeper, your branches sturdier, and your place in this world last an eternity. With all the love my heart can bare,
Your dearest Granddaughter
What a beautiful message. I love you Caroline❤️
It was a pleasure and an honor to know Ali. At most meals when we were together, he regaled us with jokes, of which he had a great abundance. Invariably, he would pull out some small green peppers and offer them around, while extolling their health virtues. I may have indulged once and most others never seemed to go back for seconds!
Ali was a complete gentleman and had a very dignified bearing. He had depth of insights into many major foreign and domestic affairs which would shed new light on what was being discussed. Listening to him was better than any news program. He was always interesting, charming to all, and made everyone feel comfortable.
Ali went with us to the Iranian Embassy in DC 3 years ago. It was extremely impressive to see the deference and respect given him by the staff there because of his former position serving his government. Besides the tremendous accomplishment he achieved in that career, the fact that he and his family came to this country and made a success is a great testament to the strength of their character, intelligence, and perseverance.
Ali’s charm and wit will be sorely missed. But the fondness of our memories and thoughts of his good and kind heart will sustain us.

Life of a Brilliant Man
Let me start by saying our deepest condolences to Nazanin and Nazgol for their father’s passing. He will still live through his beautiful daughters and give you strength. Me and my family are really happy and lucky to have known “Amou Ali” as we called him for the past 40 years. He brought joy and laughter where ever he was loved the kids playing with them callling them his famous “ham ham” grabbing their cheeks. We have lost a very special person he will remain very alive in our memories and admiration. Amou Ali will be greatly missed.

Growing up in the the Persian community in skyline was a very magical time for me. Part of this memory are the people who made it magical, including Amoo Ali. Amoo Ali was always a pleasant man to be around. He was gentle, kind-hearted, sweet-natured, funny and always happy! You could see his happiness light up through his eyes – I would say even his gentleness showed through his eyes. I went to visit him last year and although it had been many years since I had see him, his demeanor was still the same. That just goes to show that nothing can dim a bright and authentic light like his. I will carry him close to my heart and use his ways as a reminder to always stay humble. Prayers and love to you Nazanin and Nazgol. My family sends their condolences. With love,
Sanaz
