Allen David Rich, age 86, of McLean, VA passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2016. Beloved husband of Caryn Rich, devoted father of Donna Weinberger (Richard), Suzanne Tosh, and Pamela S. Rich (Shane); son of the late Samuel and Sarah Rich; brother of the late Adele Zelezny. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Jillian Weinberger (Alex Levitov), Cara Weinberger, and Matthew Tosh. Allen was a past president of the National Association of Men's and Boy's Apparel Clubs and Menswear Apparel Club. Allen was a member of the Westwood Country Club and Indian Spring Country Club. He was an avid golfer and card player. Relatives and friends are invited to Allen's Life Celebration at Money and King Funeral Home, 171 W. Maple Ave., Vienna, VA on Tuesday, November 22 from 12:30pm until time of service at 1:30pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Melanoma Research Foundation. In about the forty years I have know Allen, we did business together, in business together, and social friends as well. In all that time I never heard a bad word about Allen. Everyone liked him and wanted to be with him. He was just a great friend. Allen RIP, you will be missed.
Allen was one of the finest people I have ever known. A true gentleman I will miss Allen very much, but will remember all the great times we had. I was a lucky person to have had Allen as friend
