Dear Dr. Barsanti, Susan and family, I’m very sorry to just learn of the passing of Mrs. Barsanti. I happened to be on-line to sign another guest book when I saw her name. Her picture would have given her away, too; you look just like her, Sue. Please know that we will keep your family close in thought and prayers, and may God hold you close in the Palms of His Hands, now and hereafter. Warm Regards, Kathy (Sedlock) Rogers and the whole Sedlock family
I have fond memories of Alma during our years at St. Joseph’s College. My prayers are with her and her family during this sad time. May her soul rest in peace. Rose Bravo ’49
Dear Ron, ‘Just saw the obituary in the Washington Post and needed to drop you a line…I just buried my mom one year ago in March (Money and King, St. Mark’s, Fairfax Memorial) and I am still at a loss. After 25 years of priesthhod and funerals, expressions of condolence still sound empty. I will be offering Mass for your mom on Saturday — and praying especially for you and Carla. With heart-felt affection, Fr. Ray
There was one time I remember vividly. It was dinner time and I was really tired and I didn’t feel like eating. Then Alma, my grandma, asked me if she could make me somethling else like a sandwich. I didn’t want her to go to the trouble so she gave me something else for dinner that night. She let me eat cookies for dinner that night. That is what I remember and that will always make me smile.
When my family arrived at Alma’s house (my grandma), I was the last one to go insde the house. Even before I walked in I heard, “Where’s my Lucas? Where’s Lucas?” I immediately knew that it was Grandma because she was so excited and so full of life. That is something that I will definitely miss in my life.
We met Alma in 1971 when Faye went to work for Barsanti and Knerr. That was the beginning of a wonderful friendship with a delightful person, Alma. She is in our prayers and memories of fun picnics and parties.God bless her.

To the entire Barsanti Family: As a small child I have many fond memories of the good times on Roosevelt Court. Mrs. Barsanti was always so much fun! Her home was busy with 5 children but she always greeted you and welcomed you with open arms! I remember what a devoted mother she was and how hard she worked. Throughout my life she has kept in touch with me, my family, and my parents. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Love, Beth Stettner (Elizabeth Wiesnet)

Carla, Ronnie, and Chris, So sad to hear of your mom’s passing. It’s been years since I lived across the street from your family but I still remember when you all moved in, playing kick ball in the road, and the strong sense of family that always surrounded your home. I know you’ll keep your mom’s spirit alive by sharing family stories with each other and your families. My thoughts are with you all. Best, Lisa Barnett (Erickson)
