  1. Papa would always brag incessantly about his grandkids with some slight exaggerations. I don’t think any of us knew what any of the others were actually doing because we were all top of the class, or best in the world in his eyes. I hope to live up to what he would say to everyone about me.

  2. To Shannon and the rest of the family: May you be comforted by God’s promise that “he will destroy death forever” (Isaiah 25:8). That the resurrection is real is demonstrated by Jesus at John 11:19-44 where he raised Lazarus to life after 4 days in the grave. This and other resurrection accounts are a demonstration of what Jehovah will do on a far grander scale in the paradise earth to come. The Bible’s promise of a resurrection does not eliminate the pain of losing a loved one. But picture the reunions as dear friends and relatives, once separated by death; hold your “Papa” again. Just the thought of being able to hold your dear one again can make your pain easier to bear. I hope you are moved to learn more about the God who gives us this precious hope at www jw.org.
