With hearts full of love and gratitude, we honor and celebrate Ann Elizabeth Clenney, our cherished sister, whose warmth, laughter, and kindness touched everyone she knew. Born in Montgomery, Alabama, Ann lived a life full of curiosity and joy, delighting in reading, traveling, and every shared moment with her family.

On May 4, 2026, Ann peacefully passed leaving behind a legacy of love, generosity, and boundless joy.

A devoted professional, she inspired colleagues with her integrity and dedication.  At home, she found joy in cooking, family gatherings, and turning everyday moments into treasured memories. Her love and laughter filled her home with warmth, comfort, and light.

Ann is lovingly remembered by her siblings: Camille Henderson, David Clenney, Mary Bass, and Elaine McCarthy; her nieces and nephews: Tracy Wolfe, Austin Clenney, Jean Clenney-Mays, Austin and Jonathan McCarthy, Brian and Brittany Bass, Annie Clenney, Victoria Clenney, Alexandria Clenney-Venezia; and by all the friends and colleagues whose lives she touched. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ann C. Batty and George E. Clenney, Sr., and her brothers, George E. Clenney, Jr. and Avery A. Clenney.

Her spirit remains with us—gentle, loving, and everlasting. Please join us to celebrate the life of Ann Elizabeth Clenney at Money & King Funeral Home, 171 Maple Ave W, Vienna, VA, on Wednesday, May 20th, at 2:30 PM.
