Annmarie Valenti, of Vienna, VA, died peacefully on Monday, December 22, 2025 at her residence after a long battle with ovarian cancer.

Annmarie spent most of her childhood in Butler, NJ and received her education through the Butler School District. Of her many accomplishments as a young adult, two of the most notable were her selection as Class President at Butler High School, and winning a national cheerleading championship for St. Anthony’s Catholic School. In 1983, she moved to Oakton, VA with her family and graduated from Oakton High School in 1984. Afterwards, she pursued her education at Tufts University and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. She worked as a freelance graphic designer before transitioning to larger companies such as Powell Tate and CreativeCore. In 2000, she married her loving husband Dr. John P. Valenti, retired from daily employment, and devoted her time and energy to raising her three wonderful children, John, Mary, and Catherine Valenti. Of her many talents as a homemaker, her pasta meals, baking, and Easter Pies were the most treasured. She was also known as the “Voice of Reason” to all who knew her.

She was predeceased by her late mother Angela K. Parios, who also died of ovarian cancer. In addition to her husband and children, she is survived by her father Christopher P. (Susan) Parios; her brothers Christopher J. (Leigh) Parios and Mark P. Parios; and her nieces and nephews Christopher, Mark, Eva and David Parios.
