Tony was born in Enhaut, Dauphin County, PA. He was drafted in the army at 19 and then attended Indiana Tech graduating with a BS in Electronic Engineering. He worked for Melpar, the Federal Government and SAIC. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan M. Stoll and grandson, Joshua A. Stoll. He is survived by his children Mark A. Stoll (Lauren), Lisa S. Michaely (John), Michael J. Stoll (Patricia), Susan S. Donnelly (James), 10 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren. Tony loved his family. He also loved to polka and ballroom dance, play cards & dominoes and cherished
his friendships. In later years, he played table tennis, rode a stationary bike playing solitaire & worked puzzles. He and Joan lived in their Dunn Loring Woods, Vienna home for 59 years where he ushered at OLGC and played softball for 50 years. They spent 18 wonderful years sharing time in the Villages, Florida. He played softball into his 80’s, walked in parades and enjoyed all the amenities the Villages had to offer. He was a proud card holder of the American Legion for 71 years. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to INOVA Schar Cancer Institute in his honor.

Thanks for being such an amazing Dad. You set a great example for all of us. Missing you!
So sorry to just hear that “The Chief” has passed. Tony was my boss @ the Army Topographic Engineering Center early in my career there. I loved him. So many great memories of our friendship. He is now reunited with Joan & Josh. Prayers up for healing for the whole Stoll family. Trust in the Lord!
I just heard this today. Tony was my boss and mentor for much of my career. I started working for him in the fall of 1987 and worked for him until he retired. He was a wonderful leader and supervisor. I absolutely adored him and looked forward to seeing him each year at our picnic. RIP Tony, Godspeed!
