Italy, where, on a vacation trip, he met his wife, Anita, who was on assignment at the

Tony’s presence always lit up a room, bringing humor and fun to any gathering. Tony

fulfilling life. Tony had a passion for aviation and could often be found watching
airplanes, a hobby that brought him much joy. He also enjoyed listening to opera,
classical, and Italian music, which filled his home with melodies that he adored. A
devoted fan of the Roma soccer team, he loved cheering them on, and his passion for
the sport was evident to all who knew him. Tony also loved playing cards, scopa, and
Bocce with his friends in Florida, adding to the cherished memories of his life. He was
also an active member and volunteered with the National Italian American Foundation in
his retirement. Tony enjoyed traveling around the world with his wife, where they
explored new cultures together and made lasting memories. His family will forever
treasure his joyful spirit and wisdom.

  3. Our sincerest condolences to you Anita, and the family. Tony was such a special person. He was always smiling, always happy, and never complained about anything. He would light up a room. Our lives have been blest in a special way knowing him.

  4. Dear Anita and the entire Venditti family, my sincerest condolences on the passing of your dearest Tony. I only had the pleasure of meeting him once at Ringo & Gina’s house for dinner but what a lovely evening it was. He and my father, Tullio Vitella, were reminiscing about their childhood in Sora and Casalvieri, provincia Frosinone, Italy. Listening to them talk, one would think they had known each other for many years when actually they had just met. We had always hoped to see you and Tony again so that we could continue their conversation. I guess they’ll have that opportunity to do so now in Heaven. Anita, I hope you can find comfort in knowing that Tony is now in a better place; free from pain and reunited with his loved ones. May he rest in peace.

  5. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Anita as we celebrate the wonderful life and the joy and humor Tony brought to all of our lives over the years. Tony was a truly special and unforgettable character in the best sense of that phrase. Although our hearts are empty at the moment over the sad news, they will soon be filled with all those special moments that live on in our memories. God Bless my brother!

  6. Anita, my deepest condolences on your loss of your soulmate, partner and best friend. Tony was always so much fun, I enjoyed his stories, his passion for sports and most of all how he lit up whenever he looked at or talked about you. Prayers for his peaceful rest and for you during this difficult time.

  7. Dear Anita, We send you and your family our deepest condolences for your loss. Tony was an important and close friend to both of my parents and I know that if my mother and father were well enough they would be by your side during this difficult time. We fondly remember the times we would come by your house and spend time with Tony, talking about Italy and of course his favourite football team La Roma! His warmth, wit and Italian charm will be greatly missed and always remembered by all of us. With love Daniela, Carlo, Alessandro, Nicolo’ and Leonardo

  8. Anita,
We will always remember Tony, his smile and effervescent personality and the kindness he showed to all who knew him. Sending our love, thoughts and prayers.
    Rest in Peace Tony.

  9. Anita,
I only just learned of the loss of your wonderful husband, Tony, and the loss for me and his family and friends of one of the most kind, caring, and generous men we have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I am so deeply sorry.
    With love and prayers, Donna

  10. Our sincere condolences to dear Anita and family. We got to know Tony in 2017 when we moved into the Hamptons. We have always referred to him as a role model – ‘I want to be like Tony when I get older’. He made a remarkable impression on all three of us. Always looking sharp with a smile on his face. He was singing and dancing, enjoying time by the fire pit or by the pool. We have everlasting memories of the Fridays we spent around the fire pit during the pandemic. A new star is lit on the sky, shining bright reminding us of this fantastic man. You will never be forgotten. Love from your Norwegian friends, Victor, Kirsten and Tom

  11. Anita,
It was a beautiful send off and tribute for Tony at yesterday’s mass. We were alway in awe of how remarkable he was. May his life and memory be an inspiration to all who knew him.
    Love,
    Loretta and Bob

  12. Dear Anita,
My sincere condolences on your loss of your soulmate, Tony. My memory of Tony from many years ago in Rome was his ready smile, his willingness to help out and his sense of humor. When I saw him last year in the Hamptons, he had changed very little and still had his upbeat attitude toward life. He was truly a remarkable man.
God bless you during this difficult time. You are in my prayers. Kathy

  13. I had the honor of being Tony’s doctor for many years. He always had a smile on his face, and often a pasta recipe,or wine recommendation. He made friends with whomever was in the waiting room with him, usually sharing his secrets to a long life.
He was devoted to Anita, and Anita’s family, who he considered his own.
He had a zen for life, and enjoyed living it to the fullest. I loved when he would tell me about a opera he had just seen on TV.
I will miss seeing his smiling face and his joyful approach to life.
    Fondly
    Joanne Crantz

  14. I learned this morning from Anita that dear Tony had passed away. I was blessed to meet him and Anita in 2018 as I began renting a townhouse nearby them. The pandemic brought me close to them and for that I shall be eternally grateful. Out of lemons, came lemonade galore! Wonderful times of food, fun and laughter. And Tony was always the center of it all, especially during times of soccer! God Bless and will always remember…

  15. My former husband, Bill Wade, and I lived in Rome, Italy, in the early 1980s. We knew Tony and Anita very well. Anita worked for Bill in the Embassy. Tony was so helpful to me and my family when we arrived in Rome. I remember one particular instance when Bill was out of town and my infant daughter, Lauren, fell out of her high-chair. Tony took us to the hospital to get her checked. There were many instances of kindness. I want to send my sincere condolences to Anita and her extended family. Tony was a great man, loved by all who knew him. Warm regards. Judi Wade Hauver (Willow Street, PA)
