  1. Audrey was always a joy! She certainly could make you laugh. She had a comic side to her and also theatric as once on Sunday she suddenly placed a false mustache on her face before a round table of friends. She instantaneously got everyone’s attention! When everyone got quiet she announced that her daughter’s family was going to a gymnastics meet in Las Vegas Nevada. This is proof that she was very proud of both her granddaughters Kerri McWhorter and Lana McWhorter both of whom were winners of many ribbons and trophies. Audrey was my best friend and we spent much time together talking about family, friends, travels and golf. I am certain that she spoke of family more that all the rest. This was where her heart was-her dad, her mom, her 3 brothers and 2 sisters and her husband Bob Neeson who according to her was exceptional in charm, grace and temperament. She talked often of Nancy McWhorter, her daughter, and her husband Rodney McWhorter and their two daughters mentioned above. She spoke of Nancy’s devotion to her family. She spoke of Rodney being a good father to her grandchildren. She always was concerned about me even when I was not with her. I do not believe that she ever missed a day when she did not say a prayer for me. She will be greatly missed by me. Blessings, Carolyn

  2. Audrey was a member of our Monday night dinner group at VPC. This group met monthly in homes and became a wonderful support group for widows. Many friendships were established. Audrey made everyone feel so at home and welcome! Her smile, twinkle in her eyes, her faith in the Lord, and caring ways endeared her to everyone. We will miss her and remember her always. Our love to her dear family and friends.

  3. My Dear Aunt Audrey, Thank you for everything you did for me over the years. I will always remember you and Uncle Bob and appreciate your advice and friendship. Sorry, I could not attend your service in Virginia but we will talk at the Cherry Hill Cemetary in the near future. You are in my prayers. Your Nephew, Joe Steenson
