Barbara, you left so suddenly. But you made such a positive impression on me during your years of support to the Treasury Department. I will always remember your professionalism, kindness, and your laugh. Patti Black

Hi Fred, There are no words to express how deeply saddened I am for you when I heard of Barbaras passing. My thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time. I didnt know Barbara well, but I so enjoyed sitting at the table with you and her during my first Awards Banquet, and watching her smile widen as you joked with us all. May your heart and soul find peace and comfort Fred. Jackie
Barbara, it seems like yesterday when we worked together at Naval Ordnance Lab. Seeing you this past New Year’s Day at Ed’s house brought back a lot of memories. But you leaving so suddenly is out of character. You were always so meticulous and deliberate. I didn’t see you much lately but you are in my thoughts and I hope you rest easy. Fred, please accept my sincere sympathy.
Fred, We are so sorry to have heard about this terrible loss. There are really no words to express our sorrow. Let the good memories flood your thoughts in these times, but they can only somewhat wash away the pain. Out thoughts are with you.
I learned more from Barbara than I’ll ever be able to thank her for. I am grateful to have known her.
It has been many years since Barbara and I worked together at SPC. In those days, we were young professionals making our way in the world and I have fond memories of our work together. May your spirit rest peacefully and your family’s memories of you provide comfort and strength.

Dear Barbara, I so enjoyed working with you during my career at Treasury. You are one of the most intelligent women I’ve known. Your professionalism and expertise are a credit to women in the information systems field. I remember how infectious your laugh was and how talking to you lifted my spirits. May your loving family remember what a kind, wonderful person you are.
I was sorry to hear the sad news. I met Barbara at System Planning Corporation (SPC) in the Fall of 1983. She was my first boss out of high school (supporting FEMA contracts). She was always kind, soft spoken, professional, and hard working. I’m sure she’ll be missed, but never forgotten.
Fred, My sincerest condolences on your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Mary
Fred, I worked with Barbara at System Planning (SPC) and although I haven’t seen her in quite some time she is someone I thought about often. She was the BEST boss ever!!! I will never forget her kindness and patience (and her confidence in me) when she was teaching me LOTUS 1-2-3 way back when. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this most difficult time. May she rest in peace.
Dear Fred- Barbara was my boss’s boss at GRCI. She was ultra competent but also a really nice person. Barbara showed that you could be an aggressive business woman while also being kind and considerate. She was admired and liked by all. I am so sorry for your loss.
