Guestbook

  1. Lori Ann – I was saddened to read of Bab’s passing in the paper today. My heart goes out to you and your family. I remember fondly the happy times Joe and I shared with your parents. My love and sympathy. Eleanor

  2. Lori and family, It saddens me to hear of your mother’s passing so soon after she left Florida. “Miss Babs” fought hard for as long as she could. Everyone at East County will miss hearing her sing, “It’s time for story time,” as the children followed her like the pied piper into the storytime room.

  3. Lori and family, I am so sorry about your loss. I am glad that you had the opportunity to be together this past week. Babs was such a special person to us. She often talked about her family (always in glowing terms!)and how special all of you are. She was so very proud of all of you and loved you deeply. Please accept my sympathy. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Marsha

  4. Lori and family, I am so sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I had the pleasure of working with Babs at East County Regional. She taught me so much about children and life in general. It was an honor to have counted her among my friends. I’ll miss her greatly. Love, Anita

  5. Dear Lori, I am very sad to know that your mother has passed away. It was my great pleasure to have known and worked with Babs for more than ten years. She had a unique spirit that will not be duplicated. Her co-workers will always remember her hard work, creativity, love of children, generous nature, and ever present smile. We will miss her very much. My deepest sympathy to you and all her family and friends.

  6. Dear Lori Ann, So sorry to hear about your mother. Even more sorry that we had lost touch for so many years. I have fond memories of us riding together to choir every week. You were her pride and joy. So glad she got to love grandchildren. My prayers are with you Patsy Wood

  7. Babs will be missed here at the East County Library and Library Processing Center. She always greeted me in the morning with a friendly cheery hello — always dressed beautifully — always spoke of others with positive words. Diane Lettieri

  8. Dear Lori and family, Please accept my condolences. Your Mom will be missed greatly at East County Regional Library. My 2 daughters and I have visited the library hundreds of times in the past 9 years. Each time I saw your Mom, she treated us like we were family with her sweet greetings and kind comments. Your Mom, as we fondly called “Ms. Babs” will be remembered in our hearts each time we return to the library. Our prayers are with your family. With Jesus’ love, Rachel, Claire and Jillian Norton
