Bernard J. Moorkamp, 79, died on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at his residence in Falls Church, Va. Survived by his wife Maria; his son John; his granddaughter Marina; his sister Sintje and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a Master Mason and a true craftsman of his trade. He loved to fish and hunt in the West Virginia countryside. Services and Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Habitat for Humanity or Capital Hospice.

John and family – I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. It’s been such a long time, but I still remember what a talented, quiet and proud man he was. My Dad passed away just a few days later, on March 31 of this year. Great men, both of them. I hope you are doing well otherwise.
