On October 8, 2009, Bernice Montana Neuberg of Vienna, Virginia passed away at the Virginian. Loving wife of the late Col. Gustav A. Neuberg, USAF; devoted mother of Clare Rae Dix (Dennis), Carl E. Neuberg (Adele), & Janet M. Kremer (Michael); daughter of the late Charles & Edna Carlson; dear sister of Bill Carlson; grandmother of five grandsons: Matthew B. Dix, Mark D. Dix, Carter E. Neuberg, Justin E. Neuberg, & James M. Kremer; & great-grandmother of three great-grandchildren, Kaley L. Dix, Gus Neuberg & Erika K. Dix.

Our love and prayers are with all the wonderful Neuberg family. Your mother..and father,too, meant so much to me. We are so thankful to have had them in our lives,and will strive to keep their memories alive by modeling their love,faith and family values. I wanted to share with you what a beautiful role model your mother was for a young Tri Delta arriving in Virginia 30 years ago. You all are in my thoughts and prayers at this time..
My fond memory of Bernice is her smile. She was a gracious and kind neighbor for many years. We shared in hosting several cookie exchanges. She exchanged her favorite recipes with me but more so her wonderful spirit of community and family. Her memory is in our hearts.
I knew Bernice from Five Hills Garden Club, and always enjoyed talking with her at our meetings. Though she wasn’t able to participate in club activities in her later years, we had fond memories of her. She was a lovely person, and will be missed.
We met Bernice when her grandson, Matt Dix, and our daughter, Laura, were married. She was a gracious and friendly lady, a wonderful grandmother and great-grandmother. Her birthday and that of her first great-grandaughter, Kaley, were within a day of each other and they both enjoyed celebrating together. With sympathy to all her family, Roland and Mitzi Friedrich
I have missed seeing Bernice and her smiling face at the last several HOA meetings. Talking with her was always a highlight of the event for me. My heart goes out of Janet and the family. With our deepest condolences… Lenny, Janie and Jennifer Daum
