Betty Jane always had a smile on her face and that is something I will always remember. No matter what she was in a good mood it seemed. She made a lasting impression on Glenda and we always looked forward to her letters. She will be truley missed.
A life that touches others is a life that will go on forever. You will be seen in the smiles and heard in the laughter of your grandchildren. God has you in his arms we have you in our hearts.
Jane and Brenda and families– we will always remember how much your Mom loved you and was so proud of all your accomplishments.
What a beautiful and loving Mother and Grandmother. She took delight in her family every day. Betty Jane was a wonderful example of what a woman, Mother and Grandmother should be. She had a beautiful smile and a kind word for all she met. She will be greatly missed.
I will always remember Betty Jane as having a ‘gentle heart’. Lovely lady, in the truest sense of the word. God Bless you Betty Jane, I know He does.
What a dear woman Betty Jane was to her family, friends and especially to her pen pals. She was so instrumental in guiding all around her toward a positive and productive life without it appearing to be her will. We pray for Bob. Jane, Brenda and their entire families during this time and know Betty Jane is in the arms of God and her parents.
Bob, Jane, Brenda, and all of your loving family. We were so saddened to hear of Betty Jane’s passing. She was such a delightful, loving and thoughtful person with a beautiful heart and a smile to match. Betty Jane’s wonderful legacy was her unconditional and unending love for her family. The pride of her grandchildren was evident in every conversation, yet she was sincerely caring and interested in the families of those she knew and loved. We know you will miss her greatly, but pray that the memories that you have will bring you joy and peace. God bless you all. May her memory be eternal!
Jane, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I will always remember my time with Betty Jane driving to and from Mackinac Island. She was a very special person and she will be missed.
Our prayers are with you during this difficult time and always. May the memories of the love and laughter you shared comfort you in the days ahead. Love, The Hales
Dear Jane: Please accept my condolences to you and your family over the passing of your mother. She was a great woman and will always remember her joyful disposition, warmth, and smile. She has left a great legacy behind in you and your children. Be assured of our continued prayers for your mother, you, and your family. Sincerely yours, Joe Cella
Bob, Jane, Brenda and families: My sympathy goes out to you all. How lucky I was to be friends with Betty Jane for more than 70 years. We met in second grade, graduated from high school together and met for lunch for years when we worked in Downtown Detroit. In 1958 Betty Jane, her brother Jack and I took a trip to Europe. It was a great trip. We were bridesmaids in each others weddings and kept in contact all these years. I last spoke to Betty Jane on June 15, I shall be thankful for that talk. Betty Jane was a kind, thoughtful, loving person all the 70 plus years I knew her and the greatest friend anyone could have and I shall miss her.
