Bruce Winston Wilson Sr.
March 14, 1941 ~ January 21, 2013
On Monday, January 21, 2013 at his residence in Mclean, Virginia. A longtime resident of the greater Washington, D.C Area, Mr. Wilson was the devoted husband to the late Eve Wilson and loving father to sons Bruce Jr., James and Christopher Wilson. Born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Mr. Wilson attended the Pennsylvania State University at which he received a B.S. in Business Administration in 1963 and earned his M.B.A. in Economics in 1965.
He began his professional career in the service of the United States Government at the Central Intelligence Agency and subsequently, as an Analyst at the brokerage firm of Smith Barney. For the past three decades he managed the firm he founded, Wilson-Gillette & Company, through which he provided expert analysis, counsel and direction to Fortune 500 Companies within the Energy industry.
As a lifelong student of American history and avid antique enthusiast, he was well- regarded for his knowledge and appreciation of fine art, furnishings, and vintage collectables. In addition to his sons, he is survived by his brother Robert and six grandchildren, Carley, Danielle, James II, Jessica, Katie and Melissa. A memorial service to celebrate his life will begin at 3:30 P.M. on Saturday January 26, 2013 at St. John Episcopal Church, 6715 Georgetown Pike McLean, VA 22101.

After nearly 20 years of phone conversations about the tanker industry and market, you will be sorely missed.
