  1. You are very blessed to have had such a wonderful person as your mother/grandmother/friend. She will always be remembered. My deepest sympathy for the entire family.

  2. Mike, My deepest condolences for your loss. Thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. ~Maria

  3. I don’t know if I’ve ever met a warmer more genuine person than your mom. She was like a second mom to all of us. Opening her home, feeding us (sometimes all hours of the nite) bestowing her wisdom upon us,inspiring us to be better, even offering up free hair cuts. Some of the greatest memories I have of my high school years were at “Mrs. B’s” house with my dear friend Elaine. Elaine and Mike, our deepest sympathies are with you and your families during this time. I’m sure your mom is very busy re-arranging God’s furniture right now and getting everyone together for a big meal. Won’t be long before she has everything the way she wants it. Praying for strength for both of you.

  4. The the Family- I have the pleasure of working with Elaine and to know her is to know her Mom. I know you are experiencing a void in your life, but know that the wonderful memories you have will see you through. May God be with you now and always!

  16. Imagine walking up the sidewalk to your college roommate’s home with the trepidation of knowing Carmie was going to give you an uncomfortably strong bear hug and a little too rough cheek tug. But then you remember that she’ll have meatballs and other Italian delicacies and you’ll get to enjoy her raucous laughter and feel warm all over in her larger-then-life motherhood and life will be good. And it was…great woman, that Carmie. She’s rocking the house upstairs now and will remain in my thoughts & prayers forever.

  17. To Elaine and Family, I am at a loss for adequate words to express my sadness for you. I had the blessed opportunity of knowing your mom and I know heaven just received one of the most special angels.I am so sorry for your loss.
