Carolyn Clark Minett, passed away on January 8th, 2026 at Arleigh Burke Pavilion, Mclean, Virginia. She was 85 years old. Carolyn was the loving daughter of Charles and Marie Clark of Dallas, Texas. A dear sister to Betsy Clark of Dallas, Texas and brother Charles “Corky” Clark also of Dallas. Throughout her life, her family and friends, Catholic faith and Irish heritage were her pillars.

Carolyn was born in Dallas TX on October 19, 1940, graduated Ursuline High School, received her undergraduate degree at Barat, College of the Sacred Heart and masters of education at University of Dallas. She was a member of the Junior League of Dallas and taught mathematics at Arthur Kramer elementary school until she met Wallace H Minett who she married on October 18, 1986. Soon after their marriage, Carolyn worked for SAIC as assistant to the president of the health division until her retirement in 2005. Together Carolyn and Wally celebrated and shared an incredible loving relationship and partnership. He passed away on their 30th wedding anniversary, October 18, 2016.

Carolyn is predeceased by her parents, Charlie and Marie Clark, Her brother Charles “Corky” Clark, Jr and wife Beth Neary Clark. Carolyn is survived by her sister Betsy Clark, Corky’s wife, Ann Marron Clark. Wally’s children, Edward Minett, Jeff Minett and David Minett (Sandra) and grandchildren Emily Minett, Lindsey Minett and Dalton Minett. Nieces Karen Clark Thompson (John), Jennifer Clark Kearns (Danny), and Nephew Charles “Bubba” Clark III (Haydee). Tim Marron (Shelley), Michael Marron (Mary), Allyn Marron Harvey (Jason) and Margaret Ann Marron. She leaves behind countless grand nieces and nephews who mourn her loss and adored her and her famous cookies.

She will be buried along-side her husband at the Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her name to The Fisher House Foundation http://http://www.fisherhouse.org and please request that your donation is sent directly to Walter Reed National Medical Center, Bethesda, MD. or to your charity of choice.

Arrangements are being made by Money & King Funeral Home, Vienna Virginia however, at this time we do not have a date for the funeral mass and burial
