Carolyn Louise Wiertelak
January 26, 1921 ~ December 4, 2009
Carolyn L. Wiertelak of Fairfax, VA and formerly of Chicago, Illinois passed away on December 4, 2009 at Arden Court at Fair Oaks in Virginia. She was the loving mother of Mary Ann Phillipp (Robert)of Vienna, VA and James B. Wiertelak (Gina) of Memphis, TN. She is also survived by four grandchldren and five great grandchildren. She taught first grade at Parkman and Stevenson Elementary Schools in Chicago for 35 years. She retired in 1985 and moved to Virginia in 2003. Interment will be held at Ft. Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, MI on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at 10 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave, Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
