  14. Dearest Ann, Doug, Kimrey & Kiran, Such a sad loss for those whose hearts he touched, such a glorious moment for those with whom he was reunited. Your father, grandfather was one of the gentlest souls I’ve ever known, so kind, so steadfast. Ann, you were an amazing daughter to both Ruth and Carson, and much adored by them. I loved the times we spent at your dad’s farm in Ruckersville, and at the beach. For some reason this silly memory comes to mind; one day, when we were little, we came into your house and your dad was there to greet us. He gave us each a peck on the lips. Do you remember, he had put peppermint oil on his lips so ours tingled and stung after he kissed us. I loved both you parents and am grateful for the time I had with them. Paul and I send you our love and prayers.

  15. Ann, I know how special he is because he is my dad’s brother. They were great men and a great generation. I’m so glad we got to see him. My prayers are with you, Doug, Kimrey and Kiran.

  16. Dear Ann and Doug and Family, i’m so glad that Bill and I got to visit with you and your Dad. I always heard good things about your Dad. You were lucky to have him. My thoughts and prayers are with you. LOVE Sandy Deane
