Catherine 'Kitty' A. Scharp (age 89) of Vienna, VA on Friday, February 9, 2007 at her residence. Loving wife of George E. Scharp; devoted mother of Janet F. Scharp of McLean, VA and Jean Gessner of Sonoma, CA. She is also survived by four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Friends may call at St. Luke Catholic Church, 7001 Georgetown Pike, McLean, VA on Monday, February 12, 2007 from 10 to 11 a.m., where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment private.

Kitty was young in heart and spirit, a wonderful lady, with a great sense of humour who overcame so many major health problems. As she would say, “St Peter isn’t ready for me yet”. Rest in Peace, dear friend. We shall miss you. Sincere condolences to her beloved husband, George, and all her family.
Kitty, we loved the way you always giggled. Your happiness was contagious. You will be greatly missed by our whole family.
