Catherine B. Leavitt, died on Sunday, August 1, 2010 in McLean, Va. Born on May 7, 1929 in Delhi, NY, she resided most recently in Palm Coast, Florida before moving to Virginia. Daughter of the late Samuel L. and Effie H. Blair, she was predeceased by her husband Guy C. Leavitt and her daughter Nancy W. Phelan. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James E. Williams and Elizabeth Tacy Jester, her daughter and son-in-law, Mary W. Baum and Jonathan S. Baum, her daughter, Barbara W. Gioia and her grandchildren, Adrian, Christopher, Alexander and Anna Williams, Cassie and Darcie Baum and William and Allison Phelan. Services and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
