Charlene Yvonne Wieder Vavrina

Charlene Y. Wieder Vavrina, age 69, of Herndon, VA and formerly of Berryville, VA, passed away at home surrounded by her loved ones on Friday, September 25, 2015.
Born March 18, 1946 in Emmaus, PA, she was the daughter of Jane Warmkessel and the late Alan Wieder, and sister of the late Sharon Wieder Nicolaisen.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her two nieces, Anna Graham and Katharine Boerner, and her nephew, Michael Nicolaisen. She is also survived by her sister Victoria Esterly, her aunt Connie Dries, and her nieces Nicole Ibarra, Sarah Esterly, and Sharon Esterly.
Char had a passion for interior design and architectural construction, and was very well-traveled. She loved walking through the mountains with her dogs and spending time with close friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Life with Cancer.
A private memorial service will be arranged at a later date.
