My deepest symapathies go out to the WItt family. I knew Charlie through his wonderful daughter “Freddi” and mother Katri as Fredrika was one of my best students for four years at Falls Church HS. Charlie was a great man, father, and parent, and I am blessed to have been able to spend some time with him.
Our thoughts are with the Witt family. Mark and I had the privilege of getting to know Charlie through Katri. Needless to say, we thoroughly enjoyed spending time with him. He was always a joy!! Our deepest sympathy go out to you all. Love, Lee & Mark Dale
Dear Katri and Fredrika, I’m am very sorry for your loss and time will heal itself, but be thankful for having Charlie being apart of your lives through the years….I’ll be thinking of U both….
Dear Katri and Fredrika, I was shocked and saddened to hear of Charles’s passing. Having known him from childhood in North Dakota to adulthood in DC, I always enjoyed his company especially his great sense of humor. We all surely will miss him but he is in a better place now. God Bless his soul.
Dear Katri and Fredrika, I am saddened to hear the passing of my school classmate. He had a great sense of humor. One of his favorite quote was “Who me?”, always got chuckle out of that one. Always remembered the great time I had at his farm. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. God bless. Jon Hong
I was shocked to hear that he was passed. He and I used to visit lots at my hometown here and his hometown was not far from here too. We went out for many socials until he graduated North Dakota School for the Deaf at Devils Lake, ND in 1969, then he went to DC for his rest of life. Sad for his families.
Charles and my brother Jon Hong graduated from NDSD in the spring of 1969. They went to Gallaudet College together and went separate ways. However he and I still think of Charles. I graduated from NDSD in 1966 and also went to Gallaudet. I am very sorry about Charles’ passing away. It was least expected and I wish the best for his daughter. Barby
My deepest sympathy and condolence in the loss of your beloved Charles. He will be greatly missed by every one that knew him. I have known Charles from NDSD. He was a great friend. We used to visit each other out on the farm and he always rode his motorcyle. I got the interest in motorcyles from him and I ride one now. I cherish the memories of Charles
