Guestbook

  1. Still hard for me to except that your gone. I know that you’ll forever be with me in my heart and in spirit. Love you with all my heart.
    Love,
    Krystie

  2. Dad I miss you so much but am consoled that I was able to be there for you at the end as well as my siblings. Most of all Stacey, she was your angel and was there with you from the start until the very end. God gave you such a beautiful angel.

  3. Our prayers are with you Chris and the rest of the family. Hang on to those wonderful memories. How Bless. Sharon and Joe Bassarab

  4. Dad

We had a lot of good laughs together. I am and always will be honored to be able to have called you my dad! You gave us the guidance to be where we are today.
I will forever be grateful for the times we spent together and especially for helping me after 9/11.
We had some great times together while working the road together. I am glad that the Fairfax County Police Department was part of your family as well.
As you always use to say to me “May the wind always be at your back and the sun upon your face”
I love and will miss you dad. My pain is comforted knowing that you are with mom and Charlie!
    Until we meet again.
You #1 son..Mike….sorry Chris but you should know ;0P

  5. Poppop. How I am missing you right now. I have listened to your voicemails that I have saved from almost a year ago. It hurts knowing we won’t talk to each other, or see each other, but you have been reunited with Mommom and Dad. I know that you missed them dearly, and that brings me comfort. I may not have been Charles O’Dell Middleton V, but having the opportunity to be the one in line for it, gives me great honor. I love you so much, Poppop. As you would say, “Well Guy, I’m gonna go. I love ya, take care, and God Bless.” Until we meet again. I will think of you everyday.

  6. Dad, you will be forever in my heart. You’re the best father-in-law a girl could ask for. I take comfort in knowing that you are reunited with mom and Charlie. Please give them a kiss for me. I love you all so much ❤

  7. Dear Stacey and family: We send our deepest condolences along with prayers for gentle comfort as you grieve. He was such a fine man, and all who knew him will miss him. Blessings to all. -Stephanie, Eric, Mark, Liz, Cody and Zoey Niedringhaus

  8. Poppop, thank you for your dedicated service to our country and to keeping our neighborhood safe. Growing up as the kid next door, in many ways I felt you were my own grandfather, always ensuring that Krystie and I were behaving! Your spirit will be surely missed, but I know that you are at peace now with Mommom and Charlie. Love, Rebecca (Lowenkron) Jackson

  9. To our wonderful friend and neighbor, Chuck Middleton: your kindness, good humor and laughter will always be remembered. We really enjoyed our conversations when you were out walking with Bridget and Bella 🙂 Thank you so much for your service to the country – both in the US Navy and in law enforcement. We will miss you. Our hearts grieve with the Middleton family and we send you all peace, love and comfort. – The Lavender Family

  10. My sincere and heartfelt condolences to the Middleton family. I served with Chuck in Irex (SS 482) in the early 1960s. I remember him as a fine naval officer, as a dependable shipmate and as a gentleman with a great sense of humor. I know he will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him..

  11. Dad, I miss you so much. You were the strongest man I’ve ever known. Proud to call you my Dad. Even when we agreed to disagree you always made me say things in my head that wound never leave my lips. I am following the Nats, Celtics, and all the usual suspects. Wish we were watching them together
I’m sure you can hear my cheers and jeers from heaven.
As I promised you. We honored your wishes regarding getting t from e house cleaned and ready to sell in the time frame you set.
You’d be proud of us. Month 1 an all cash offer. Poor Rick. I’m going to have to tell him to build his wall! I will see you one day soon. I’ll be on the rainbow bridge with you and the dogs?
