Guestbook

  1. May our dearest Lord bless and comfort all of you during this time of grief. Please accept our sincerest condolences, and be assured of our prayers for your family.

  2. Cheryl, you ALWAYS brought a smile to our faces. We enjoyed every moment with you. Thank you for keeping everything light and fun for your friends of AAWB. Losing you Cheryl, is a huge loss for all of us. WE LOVE YOU…From AAWB – Ashburn Area Women in Business

  3. I am so shocked that you have gone, it just doesn’t seem possible that we won’t have tea together. Who am I going to giggle with at Ann’s parties? I’m so glad we all got to celebrate you 50th birthday. We will watch over your “minions”, they were so lucky to have you as a mother, even though they lost you too soon they know how much you loved them.

  4. Thank you, Cheryl, for being a friend. When I was ill you gave me the “Our Lady Book” which I’ve treasured ever since. It helped me recover more easily. We love you and will pray for you and Jeff and your entire family always. Our lasting memory of Cheryl will be her leading the choir barely a few days after Jeff was buried. At the funeral, it was Cheryl consoling mourners. We all know that nothing happens in the universe without God willing and permitting it. That doesn’t stop us from missing someone so selfless and devout. We also know as Catholics that we aren’t supposed to form judgments, but we can’t help believing that Cheryl is in Heaven, seeing God’s face along with Maureen Wersinger, a kindred soul we were also privileged to know at St. Athanasius.

  5. Wonderful, smart, & intelligent woman and mother. Our prayers are that she will join her beloved husband and be forever joyful in God’s haven with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

  6. Your kind and fun spirit will be greatly missed at our Wednesday Morning Ladies Bowling League. May you rest in God’s hands. Our thoughts and prayers are with your children and family.

  7. To Audrey and family, our condolences. We are thinking of you and keeping you all in our prayers. From your friends at IU Health-Goshen.

  8. To Audrey and family, our condolences. We are thinking of you and keeping you all in our prayers. From your friends at IU Health-Goshen.

  9. My heart and prayers go out to your children and family. I will always remember your beautiful smile and great sense of humor during bowling on Wed. mornings. You will be sorely missed.

  10. My sincerest sympathies to you all. Cheryl’s beautiful smile and warm personality brightened everyone’s day! I will miss her dearly as a friend and as a great Mary Kay consultant. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

  11. We are so saddened to hear of Cheryl’s passing. I personally, after all these years of hearing about her, met her at Village Fest selling her soap and we were so excited about the soap and knowing her daughter, Momo, plays field hockey with Natalie. We hope to help the family in any way we can.

  12. Cheryl was such a warm tenderhearted person. Her smile lit up the room every time she entered. My heartfelt prayers are with all of her children. She will be missed by so many!

  13. please accept my heartfelt sorrow and support on the passing of your Mother, Cheryl. I am always available to you in anyway I can help. May God bless Cheryl and her family now and always.

  14. Cheryl was one of the sweetest and kindest women I have ever met. There was always room for one more at the table when Mrs. Kraus was cooking and she would gladly offer it with a warm smile. I will truly miss her light-hearted jokes and the lively chaos that she some how managed to control at the Kraus Haus. She was a bright and joyful mother and a delightful person to be around. God rest her and keep her. My thoughts are with her children now, who have all learned strength and kindness to mirror their dear mother. I know that they will band together in this time and look forward to brighter days beyond under their parents’ gaze from above.

  15. I have been on Cheryl’s bowling team for the past year. She always had a smile on her face and loved to laugh. She got excited about the smallest thing and it was contagious. On her 50th birthday she bowled the best game of her life – 5 strikes in a row and a final score of just over 200. I will always remember that day! I will miss her and Wed. Ladies Bowling won’t be the same without her. It was a priviledge to get to know her. My heartfelt sympathy to her children. But I have no doubt she is basking in the glory of her creator. God rest her soul and God bless her family.

  16. Cheryl convinced me to launch a TORCH homeschooling support group together with her in Sterling, VA. It was about 20 years ago, and Cheryl seemed so young, so full of energy! She will always be young in my memory! Over the years, I have been so blessed by that decision to form our TORCH group, and so have countless other people. Thank you, Cheryl, for enriching our lives and helping us to find so many wonderful friends.

  17. I am so dispirited to hear of this. May God be with all through the loss of such a wonderful person. I’m blessed be a friend of a few of the many kind and well-spoken children she brought into this world. Maureen, Bridget, Matthew, Erin, Devon, Bryan, Andrew and Mary, I’m keeping you all in my prayers. With all my love, I wish for healing and rememberance of this faithful and caring mother Cheryl.

  18. Kraus children I can’t even think of what to say that could express the sincerity I have in my heart for each of you during this grievous time. But God’s word always has the encouragement to sustain us through hard times. 2 Corinthians 1:3,4.
