Her pride and joy include her six grandsons Justin (17), Carter (15), Micah (14), Aaron (12), Caleb (11) and Grayson (8). Her children and grandsons remember her as incredibly caring, loving and selfless.

Cheryl was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people. When she retired from nursing she volunteered her time with many organizations, including Compassus Palliative Care & Hospice. As a Compassus volunteer she spent time with people in hospice care. This care was given back to her by Compassus during her last month with us. Those working with her felt honored to be serving such a kind and giving person under their care.
As Cheryl was both a giver and recipient of Compassus care, in lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Compassus. Please see the link below for donations.

Cheryl was a wonderful friend. She moved so far away. I wish that I could have been able to be in her company more. We met in church when she lived in COLORADO. I loved her kind and gentle spirit. I loved her family. Peace my friend. See you in heaven.
I have tears on my cheeks… Cheryl was a loving host mother for me. She took good care of me. I learnt a lot from Cheryl and the Plummer family – love, care, happy life, positive thinking, smiling face, always time for everyone, active, wonderful mother. I have only lovely memories.
Hugs for the family!
I had the privilege of working with Cheryl for many years at Fair Oaks hospital. She was an amazing clinician and her compassionate spirit touched many lives. She was so caring with our patients and an excellent mentor to new nurses. Her calm demeanor belied her fierce determination to provide exceptional care to her patients. She was so dedicated to her family and I remember her excitement when each of her grandsons was born! I loved her positive attitude and I know she will be greatly missed.
