Clifford L. Netherton, age 100, died on Sunday, December 5, 2010 at his home in Great Falls, VA. He was the beloved husband of Jean C. Netherton. He is also survived by his niece and great-niece and nephew.

I remember coach Netherton during my years at Anacostia High School, 1957-1960. My condolences to Mrs. Netherton and family.
I attended anacostia high school in WASHINGTON D.C. from 1958 until graduation in 1960 Coach Netherton was my gym instructor in 10th and 11th grades and of course our much remembered baseball coach my memories of our time together are only the best.
