  1. Koz has been my friend and patron-of-my-ersatz-entertainment-art for more than 45 years. Humorous and steadfast. He’ll always be. ~Steve Hudson

  2. We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Kozloff, and we are sending prayers of comfort to his family and friends. Thank you, Mr. Kozloff, for your distinguished service in the United States Marines and for your dedicated service with the Fairfax County Police Department serving the community there. We know you were also very involved with your church and a faithful servant to the Lord. Blessings to all of his family and friends. Larry, Becki, Rachel and Shelby

  3. Thinking of you in your sorrow on the passing of Col. He will be long – remembered by my family. Since first meeting Col during 1982, had many happy memories of our time with him in Washington & on our return to Australia when he visited here & made our home his base for the many trips around. He was passionate about Australia & Opals! Could go on forever, but space a problem. (Will forward more detailed memories soon)! Remember always being greeted by G’day mate!! Hope in time you will find comfort in the memories Col left behind. With Deepest Sympathy. From Therese Bull & Family.

  4. I met Colin when I married Gary Hall. Colin was the longtime friend and soulmate of Gary’s mother Jean. I enjoyed hearing about his wonderful career from his military service to his law enforcement career. He was passionate about giving back to the community in his life. He is greatly missed.

  5. I have had the joy of knowing Colin, or as most everyone knew him as ‘Koz’, for a whole bunch of years. I met Koz back around 1970 when I was a young police officer. As my career progressed, we became even closer when I moved into investigations, and he became my mentor. We worked together on many cases until he retired. But, our friendship remained, we would speak often, run into each other socially, and attend retired police events. Koz always had my utmost respect and admiration. Although he will be missed, the memories remain.

President, Fairfax County Retired Police Association

  6. I just found out about Koz passing away. I met Koz at Mylo’s Grill about ten years ago. For the first 8 months I didn’t think Koz liked me very much. Then one day he overheard me talking about my vegetable garden and started asking me about what worked for me. There began a very amazing friendship. Koz was always so nice to me and my wife. I am really going to miss him. Despite our age difference he was a true friend. He shared some amazing life stories with me that I enjoy retelling to people who never had the pleasure of meeting him. Truly one of a kind. I will miss him greatly! -Tim Welter
