  1. Q: How did you meet Cynthia?

A: I worked with Cindy at FOH for many years. I really got to know her though during COVID at the National Gallery of Art.
We worked to make that CLinic beautiful. She also was with me at the DOL and spent the whole day going over my competencies with me.
During her illness I would often text her to just know how she was doing….I felt it was important after all the years she had spent at FOH to not let her memory disappear
She is a beautiful, God-loving person. I am honored to have been able to call her a colleague and a friend

    Blessings to you dearest Cindy

  2. Sending my deepest sympathies to the family.
I have wonderful memories of my friendship with the Sitko family and Cindy being a kind, reserved and funny friend.
I will always cherish our times camping, rafting and just hanging out. Except the time Cindy took a picture of me sleeping by the camp fire with my mouth open.
She is loved and will truly be missed. I will always hold her close to my heart.
    Nia Kokotkiewicz.

  3. I’m heartbroken to learn this news! Cindy was wonderful in every way. As an employee at the National Archives Building in Washington, DC she helped me on numerous occasions on health issues with professional, wise, and compassionate advice.

We also worked together to bring health and wellness programs to staff through the Wellness Program and the Safety and Health Committee.

I’d often just pop in and say hello for a “quick” conversation. From our times together, I know that she loved her family dearly. She often spoke of her husband and daughter and delighted in hearing about their exploits.
