Guestbook

  1. Damon, I shall miss you every day. For the last 32 years you were my mentor, my boss (at least you thought so!), my dearest friend, confidant and adviser. Your generosity knew no bounds. Your humor touched everyone. You are the smartest and most beautiful soul I have ever known. Life will never be the same. Thank you for the opportunities to make my life better and for all the laughter along the way,

  2. There simply will never be another Damon Harwood. I will forever cherish the times together trying to get a building or two designed and built, with most of those work days filled with the full range of life’s emotions (sometimes within a single meeting!). Damon wielded his wit and his sense of humor as if they were weapons against frustration; somehow, no matter what the circumstances, we always ended up laughing. Life was good with Damon in the room.

  3. If I could go back in time, Id go back to those years working for Damon. We had some great times. He always made it fun to come to work. Damon is an irreplaceable, generous, mentor and friend, he will be greatly missed, both on a professional and personal level. I will never forget his contagious smile, sense of humor and intelligence. I am truly blessed to have known him.

  4. I met Damon while serving as the Governments contracting officer seeking the construction of a new FBI facility in Las Vegas. I have so very many memories of our meetings. Damon was a deeply caring man with a personality as big as all outdoors. Having worked for Government all my adult life I have met many real estate developers but few that I genuinely enjoyed being with and caring about. Damon made it impossible not to like him, not to care deeply about him. His passing breaks my heart. Make God welcome him at the gates of heaven with a smile and hug and a “well done” for a life lived well. I will always remember Damon. My condolences. The entire Harwood family will be in my prayers.
