Daniel Edward Cukauskas, 43, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at his home in Vienna, Va., with his parents by his side. He is survived by his parents Edward J. and Barbara L. Cukauskas, his sisters, Wendy (Dan) McDonald of Tyngsboro, Mass. and Deborah (Barry) Hobart of Apex, NC, his nieces and nephews, Penelope Anne, Emma Brooke, Gavin Anthony and Kyle Michael.
The family will receive friends at St. Mark Catholic Church, 9970 Vale Rd., Vienna, Va on Monday, June 5th from 10-11AM where a Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Esophageal Research or Vitas Hospice.

My deepest condolences to the Cukauskas family. Dan was a loyal and true friend to me for over 25 years. He was a blessing in my life and I will miss him tremendously. Dan showed me the meaning of strength throughout his years and in his final battles. May he rest peacefully in the embrace of eternity.
My sincere condolences to your family. Dan was truly one-of-a-kind and we shared a lot over the years. I will always be grateful for his friendship and unique perspective. Dan was steadfast, logical, humorous, and supportive. He will be missed in person but not in our hearts.
Dear Cukauskas Family, I’m very sorry for your loss. I knew Dan from high school and have many good memories of spending time with him. He was a very thoughtful friend. I cherish the time he traveled to Europe and joined me on an adventure to visit Rome and Florence. He will be missed.
