David Aaron Yazdani

david yazdani
David Aaron Yazdani, born in Reston, Va on August 6, 1989, was suddenly taken from us, far too soon, on October 11, 2021 in Vienna, Va. He is survived by his adoring parents, Abbas and Pamela Yazdani; two “best bros and buds,” Aziz and Amir; “mini-me” nephew, Leonardo Yazdani, to whom he was devoted; loving and caring partner, Brenda Martin; grandmother Akthar Yazdani; many aunts, uncles, cousins — near and far; a lifetime of friends; and his beloved, constant companion Duke. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Seifollah Yazdani, and Francis and Mildred Rudzinski.

Aaron grew up in Northern Virginia, and moved to Colorado, where he studied at Colorado State University, graduating with a BS in Electrical Engineering. Remaining in Colorado to work, Aaron adopted Duke, his Blue Doberman. Together, they went to the Saratoga Springs area of New York State, and eventually returned to Virginia and resettled in the same house where Aaron began his life. Back in Virginia, Aaron met the love of his life, Brenda Martin, with whom he was planning a happy future.

Aaron enjoyed life. Some of his favorite past-times were snow skiing, kayaking, skateboarding, flying drones, and anything and everything computerized. He was creative and enjoyed design and construction projects, as well as being “Mr. Fix It” for his Dad. Aaron’s most recent creation, completed with his nephew, Leo, was constructing an Odin’s gunganir from the Marvel Universe. Aaron loved traveling, and did so quite extensively. He delighted in hosting BBQs for friends and family, and baking special cheesecakes for his mom.

Aaron had a knack for knowing what you needed at any given time, listening unabashedly, and responding knowingly and lovingly. He was the nucleus and peacemaker in the family and in all relationships. He was a friend without borders. They say some people are willing to give you the shirt off their backs. Aaron would give you his entire suit, hat and coat; and loan you his car if that’s what you needed. Even in the afterlife, he donated his organs so others could live. We smile with him in Heaven knowing part of him is living in them and through them. Aaron, the most loving person has left his mark on earth and will be sorely missed by all of us.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 17th from 3 to 5 pm at the Money and King Funeral Home in Vienna, Virginia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday October 18th at 1 pm at St. Mark Catholic Church in Vienna, Virginia. Memorial contributions may be made in Aaron's honor to the charity of your choice.

Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. When I first met Aaron, I was working at ARTEL as the HR Manager around 1999 or so. My memories of him are that he was adorable – that little face! I used to pinch his cheeks and tease him. What a wonderful child! My heart goes out to the Yazdani Family at this most difficult time. I will never be able to express my adoration and love for Aaron and his wonderful family. Love and Prayers Always, Andrea & Jeff Zeman

  2. I’ll never forget when we first met at 12 years old in Mrs. Norman’s math class. From there we always stayed friends, combined friend groups, and grew up together. High school just would never have been the same without you and I’ll never forget all the memories at your house and my house hanging out with all the guys. Then you and Nick went to Colorado together and we were forever fused together as friends but more like family. Our wedding wouldn’t have been the same without you standing up with us as a groomsman. I know we then moved down separate paths but we never stopped caring about each other and that’s what made all of our friendships so special. I wish we had one more time to hang and for you to joke around and make us all laugh which is what you did best. We will miss you Aaron- more than we did and do already. Rest easy bro.

  3. I went to Colorado State knowing exactly one person… Aaron. He was a fantastic friend that I could always count on. We rode skateboards together around campus, built jumps at the nearest high school when we got a huge snow storm, and went to the resorts together. He was a genuine, caring, and selfless friend that always made me laugh. He has an amazing family and will be in my heart during this difficult time.

  4. Joshua 1:9 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.
