I didn’t know Dave that well while working at Mobil & ExxonMobil, but got to know him while playing golf with the PAC group. While I’m not real active with PAC, Dave was always very welcoming and a true gentleman each time I saw him at an outing, and also when in the same 4-some with him. Am sure he was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He will be missed.
Met Dave only a short time ago and enjoyed and remember time spent in PAC and bridge. A very fine gentleman

Nancy, words cannot begin to express our deep sorrow at Dave’s passing. You have all been through so much these past months yet you have handled it with grace and dignity. Know that Dave will be missed, but not forgotten. Our prayers are with you and your family.
Dave and I were co-workers at Mobil and he was always honest, kind and giving and very family focused. I remember Dave telling me after he was shifted into a computer assignment that Nancy had told him to make the best of this opportunity, and he certainly did. I have told that story about Dave to other coworkers about the right way to deal with job adversity. Dave’s memory has lived on with me and he made a very positive mark in the world. We are sorry for your loss, Nancy and family.
Nancy: Dave is in Heven smiling down on you and helping you to get through this time. You were such a loving couple that by your example you helped others through their chalanges. We will all miss Dave, but he will want you to go on with your life of joy and giving. Helen and I give you all our love.

We know Dave will be with you in spirit during this difficult time. Fight for strength to get on with life as Dave fought so hard to live life!! You are in our thoughts and prayers. We send you much love. GOD BLESS! Ed and Alice
Dave was the kindest most thoughtful man we have known. We both think he was the most genuine, decent man you could meet. He has been taken away from us far too soon. It is a great tragedy for all of us but especially for Nancy and Keeley, his beloved close family, to whom he was always fully dedicated. We have known Dave (and his family) for about 40 years, meeting him when he was stationed in London for Mobil. We had many good times together and since then have seen him from time to time, when he was in UK or we in USA, both at his beloved (and beautiful) place in Cape Cod and elsewhere in USA. We will miss Dave so much. We cannot believe it has happened. Nancy and Keeley our kindest and warmest thoughts are with you now, tomorrow and in future. With fondest and deepest memories
We are deeply saddened by the loss of Dave. We will remember his smile, his kindness and his humor. Dave will be greatly missed by all the Brands
We enjoyed good times at the Cape with Dave, and remember him as a generous and gracious host at his and Nancy’s beautiful house there. We will miss him. Love, Ed and Teresa Mullen
Nancy & Keely, So very sorry for your loss. Dave was truly one of the good ones. God will see you through this trying time. Our sympathies and prayers are with you.
Dear Nancy, Keely and Family- I can still see Dave’s face, eight years ago, blushing under a shy smile, as the wife he thoroughly adored introduced her Moxie mates to her “Mr. Wonderful.” May God bless and comfort you with innumerable memories of times spent with Dave. Our deepest condolences, love, support, prayers, and friendship always, Marlene and Rob
Dear Nancy and Family: Ann and I offer you our heartfelt condolences. Dave was a good man and a loyal classmate and he will be missed by all who knew him. Dave your work is done, be thou at peace. Tom Smith 1969 C-4

I only met David once at a dinner party given by mutual friends. David was absolutely delightful with a zest for life and a twinkle in his eye for his bride. God could not have provided him with a better mate then Nancy. She was supportive, adoring and a charming course corrector when David wanted to “fly’ to destinations that were not on the flight plan that evening. I wished I could have spent more time with them as a couple. Nancy has been a friend of 25 years beginning when we were teaching challenging children in Reston, VA. We have shared our hopes, dreams, fears and family stories at dinners throughout the years. May God continue to bless you, my dear friend, as you must now travel alone until you and David can once again fly together in the heavenly realms.
Dear Nancy, On a hot R-Day in July 1965 my spirits were lifted by a smile and a wink from Dave, my fellow 9th Company New Cadet. Dave and I would spend four years together in the 4th Regiment and when we’d see each other we’d often reminisce fondly about our Cape exploits. When we were Yearlings, Dave reintroduced me to Eileen, and changed my life forever. Throughout his life, Dave changed many, many lives and made a difference in everything he did. He was so very special in so many ways and Eileen and I will miss him terribly. Our love goes out to you and Keely. Love, Casey and Eileen
Our sympathies go to Nancy and to your family. You are in our prayers.
Dearest Nancy and family, We are so sorry on the loss of your beloved David. To your Moxie pals, we smiled each time you referred to him as “Mr. Wonderful.” I was fortunate to meet David on his Cape Cod turf that rainy, blustery day. His love, zest and passion for all things “Cape” was clear to see….but nothing comes close as the love in his eyes for you Nancy. Thinking of you at this difficult time, Marianna and Ted Ong
We share comfort in knowing Mr. David Dunaway is no longer suffering. We send thoughts of sympathy and support to Nancy, Keely and rest of the family as you begin your journey without Mr. David Dunaway. Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for your lossour thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.
You are in our thoughts and prayers Nancy. We wish quick healing for you and your family and fond memories of Dave forever in your hearts and mind. Lots of Love, Suzanne, Kevin and girls
Dear Nancy Although we have not see you both so often in recent years, we have such happy memories of our times with you when you were so kind and hospitable to us when we were in New York. We still recall the fun we had at Dave’s Super Bowl party and our later visit to the Re- -enactment where he looked after us so well with his good humour and meticulous planning. More recently we were so impressed by the epic drive you both made from Milan to Cannes and back to see us for a day and a night. We were so pleased that we were able to get together last year on The Cape when Dave was such a perfect host and it is so hard to understand how he could be taken so young when he was such a fit and active person. He will be sadly missed by us all. We hope your many happy memories of Dave will sustain you through this painful time and our kindest thoughts are with you Nancy, Keely and Franco. Shirley and Cliff
Please know you are in our thoughts & prayers.
