I am so sorry for your loss which is also a great loss for all who knew Dave. As a coworker for more than twenty years, I am greatly saddened by the loss.

So very sorry to learn of Dave’s passing. Will pray for the repose of his soul and for his family in there time of loss.
My thoughts and prayers are with the Garner family during this very difficult time. May you find comfort in God’s promise that the last enemy, death is to be brought to nothing. (1Corinthians 15:26)
Dear Cindy & family, we are deeply saddened by your loss. The very best of memories we were able to share with Dave while in the Army and with SAIC will live on forever. Dave was indeed a great friend and inspiration. Our prayers and thoughts are with the Garner family.
I was very sorry to hear of Dave’s sudden passing. Although retired, he still had a lot to offer. A fellow Military Police officer and good friend, I, like many others, will miss Dave and his inspirational leadership. He was a great soldier, patriot, and American who will be long remembered. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family for losing a tremendous husband, father, and grandfather. God rest his soul.
I was deeply saddened to hear of Dave’s passing. It is a life ended far too early. David and I lived on the same strasse in Fuerth, Germany in the early 50’s.Both our fathers were assigned to the medical activity there. Coincidentally, years later, we both ended up as MP officers. He was a superb role model for me throughout his career. Please accept my sincerest condolences on your loss.
My memories of Dave go back to 1969 when we were together in the MP Advanced Course for one year. He was a wonderful colleague with a great sense of humor as we talked about our time in Vietnam together. I am not sure if he was married at the time (I wasn’t) but I know he would have been a loving and kind gentleman to his family and friends. The US Army was a great institution because of his presence. We will all miss him dearly. May his memories be for a blessing. Arnie Daxe, COL, USA Retired
