On Christmas morning at the age of 72, Debra Register Dotson of Manassas Va. was called home. She was overcome by a sudden illness. Debbie was a dedicated speech therapist working with Fairfax County Public Schools until she retired. She was preceded in death by her parents Ray and Marilyn Register and her younger sister Nancy Register Prothro. She was a loyal and loving mother leaving behind her children Christopher R. Gamez-Ninos, Emaleigh Freeman and granddaughter Ja Yun Freeman.
She is also survived by her brother Raymond II and wife Donna Register; nieces and nephews Raymond Register III and Katie Bennett(partner); Kelly (Register)and husband Eric Fitzpatrick; Daniel Prothro; Richard Register, and Edgar and Walter Calix (who were like sons to her). She also had many grandnieces and grandnephews Ryder, Emmett and Piper Fitzpatrick, Avery and Rian Register and Harmony Prothro.
Per her final wishes there will be no services and she wanted no flowers or fuss. She will be cremated and interred at a later time. Please remember her in your thoughts and prayers for her family.
