Guestbook

  1. My sincerest condolences to the Anderson family. I attended high school with Denise in Demarest, NJ. We had many classes together. Although we weren’t close friends…we knew each other well. Denise was a very giving person and accomplished much in her life. I will keep her and your entire family in my prayers.

  2. Our thoughts and prayers are with Rich, Alex and Max at this time. We remember Denise fondly as a neighbor and a friend. What will always stand out is her strong devotion to her family. Joe Findaro (along with Patrick, Mark and Jack)

  3. Aloha-I just learned of Denise’s passing and send my most sincere condolences. I grew up in Demarest and went to Demarest Public School and NVRHS with her. Although I have not seen her in many years, I have fond memories of her as a very nice person with a great sense of humor. May Denise rest in peace and many good memories comfort her family.

  4. Dear Kevin: Please accept my condolences at this time of deepest sorrow. I remember to this day, the first day Denise attended class when your family moved to Demarest. I always thought so highly of your sister. Sincerely, Michael P. Higgins NVRHS 1969

  5. I have many fond memories of Denise, starting in 7th grade . For many years I have wished I could contact her but did not know how to find her. I am so sorry for your loss. Adrianne

  6. I remember the first time I met Denise, it was at some random pool that Ray Beneki had us driving to in Reston for swim practice. We became good swim friends after sitting together at numerous swim meets. Denise, thanks for making those meets so much fun. Love, Julie Stark

  7. MY PRAYERS GO OUT TO ALL OF YOU WHO KNEW, OR LOVED DENISE. I KNEW HER FROM NVRHS, AND HAVE FOND MEMORIES OF HER. AFTER SUCH SUFFERING, I HOPE SHE IS AT PEACE. MAY THE LORD BLESS HER AND KEEP HER, MY THE LORD SHINE HIS LIGHT UPON HER AND BE GRACIOUS UNTO HER. YOU ARE IN MY HEART AND PRAYERS. LADY ORANJE VAN TEN HOEVEN GAYLE MICHEL NEGRI AGNELLI DE FERRARI.

  8. Dear Rich, Alex, and Max – She was a wonderful person; I miss her alot as I know you do. We had such fun all those years at jazzercize. Alex and Max, I feel like I know you from all the conversations your Mom and I had after jazz. each week. Alex – she would talk about your swimming and Max – always a story about your latest escapade. Your Mom was such a down to earth and happy person. It just isn’t fair that she is gone. Grief is an awful thing to experience as my family knows. Rich – as you know my husband died last Nov. from cancer and my kids and I know what all too well what it feels like to lose a parent to cancer and the struggle you are facing. Be good to yourselves and take care of each other – one day at a time. That’s all my kids and I have been able to do as we redefine ourselves as a family. Denise and all of you are in my every day thoughts and prayers. Deb Granato

  9. Dear Mr. Anderson, Max and Alex, I was so saddened to read of Mrs. Anderson’s passing. All the teachers at The Learning Tree remember her as a wonderful and caring mother, a dedicated volunteer, and a genuinely lovely person who was always upbeat with a great sense of humor. She was so proud of her two sons and we were delighted to have these nice little fellows in our preschool classes. I’m sure she will be missed by many. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers at this very sad time.

  10. It was an honor to know Denise. I met her through her dear friend Faye and was immediately captured by Denise’s warmth, intelligence and wonderful sense of style. I will always remember Denise’s great courage, integrity and devotion to her family and her friends. With deepest sympathy to her family, Kate Mikszewski

  11. I had the privilege of knowing Denise for the past 16 years. I worked side-by-side with her at Westbriar Elementary School in the student store and we shared membership in a monthly ladies luncheon group. Her intelligence and charm were exceeded only by her giving spirit and her readiness to listen. Her smile lit up many a room and poolsides across the country as she would watch her beloved sons compete in either swimming or diving. Her devotion to her beloved and strong Rich was evident through the way she would look at him and talk about him in his absence. Denise was a woman to have known, and I feel blessed to be able to call her my friend. She was loved and admired by many. Robert and I send our deepest condolences to her family. I miss her.
