Devan was born on June 25, 1968.
He spent his first years in Iowa, and then his family moved to the Seattle area. After a few years, they moved east and settled in Northern Virginia.
Devan enjoyed working with his hands. He was a skilled craftsman who specialized in tiles setting for residential and commercial properties in the Maryland, DC, and Virginia areas.
He loved following his favorite sports teams, especially the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Flyers.
Hanging out with his friends was always a highlight for Devan. Everyone enjoyed his large and varied music collection.
His disarming smile and engaging chuckle will remain in our hearts forever.

We share in your sorrow and hope you will find comfort in knowing others care. We extend our sympathy to you and your family.
I just heard that Devon has died, I’m so sorry. His phone number is by my phone I was going to call him Monday after I had finished taking some pills the doctor has me on. Devon told me how he met Richie, my son. Devon answered an ad my son, Richie, had in the paper for a tile setter. Devon tiled my bathroom, he was an artist at his work and a very hard worker. My son, Richie. died 7 years ago of a heart attack. He has two children. Devon was a great help and friend to him. And, became a friend to my son Bill and me. He would put his arm around me saying he was sorry I was sad about loosing my son. Devon was a kind, wonderful person. I will miss him terribly. Nancy Giampa
