Guestbook

  1. Betsy and family: I am so saddened to hear the news of Don’s death. I enjoyed our time working together in Hexagon, especially as stage manager and tech crew. He was a joyful, smart and creative person. Even though I’ve been away from DC area for 15 years, I keep in touch with the Hexagram, remembering all of the great times and friendships. My heart goes out to you and your family. Don was a very special person and I am honored to have known him. Nancy Lashutka

  2. Betsy , I was saddened to hear of Don’s death. The last time I saw him was at the Art League. I remember the years we taught together. I would very much like to hear from you, Fondly , Gretchen Thompson

  3. It was an honor and a pleasure to have known Don for almost four decades as we worked through many legal issues. Don had a great sense of humor and he was one of the few attorneys who had far more than one life outside the stuffy confines of the law. Who can ever forget the Fells Point Yacht Club with The Donald being the first Commodore? I do admire him for knowing when to say when to his legal career in order to enjoy the numerous other interesting facets of a life well lived. My condolences to his family and friends.

  4. Dearest Betsy, Jason & Adam & Kim: The entire Delany family is sending Love and Hugs to all of you! Don and Dad had a had a special relationship that created a very special family relationship that we will always cherish. Please know that you are all in our hearts and prayers and we look forward to celebrating and remembering Don. What an awesome Man and he touched us all in his unique and special way! Love, Mary D & the Delany Clan

  5. Dear Betsy, I was so saddened to hear about Don. He was the most cheerful guy I ever met, even when we were in the middle of the usual backstage chaos that only us techies know about up close. He was a great SM and ASM, never minding the many screw-ups that crew members and chiefs (including me, unfortunately) subjected him to. I always looked forward to his big hug and 64-karat grin. I hope his happy spirit will linger forever around our stages. With deep affection and sympathy, Sara

  6. I am so sorry to learn of Don’s passing. He was such a great man and dear friend of my Dad and the entire family. My sincere condolences.
