Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Mrs. Troup, Rosemary, Greg, Brian, & Tina: Our condolences for your loss. We hold you in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. A toast to your husband and father and the great things he accomplished in his life.

  2. I first met Don in mid-60s and worked with him for the next ten years or so in the Ops Center, Indications & Warning, and a special project. I have a recurring image of him waving a cable at me in one hand and glasses way down on his nose … anywhere but where they were supposed to be. We frequently lunched and he tried his best to tutor me but had alas a poor student. However, two lessons stayed with me: attention to detail and treating our duties seriously. Don’s memory will live on as one of the nicest folks with whom I ever worked. Good job, Don.

  3. We send our sincere condolences to the Troup family – Don will certainly be missed. We have great memories of the many times that we traveled together to those enjoyable, annual Grandparents Day visits to BFS. And of course we will always remember those fun stops along the way at the Cracker Barrel. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Olin & Sally

  4. My condolences go out to the Troup family. I did not know Don Troup, but I do know his son Brian Troup whom has been a mentor and leader in my life. I am sure his father Don was very proud of him and can rest in peace now. Sincerely, John Breen
