  6. Phil, Steve, Lauren and family, I am so saddened to hear of Randi’s passing and my family’s thoughts are with you. Randi was the first friend I made at UPENN, when we were just a couple of “band geeks” looking for the marching band sign-up sheet in Annenberg Center. I counted myself lucky that day to have made a new friend, but I eventually realized just how lucky I was to have made friends with someone like Randi. She was funny, sincere, thoughtful and generous. Randi participated in many activities in college, but never let them distract her from her studies. She was truly one of the most hard working and organized students I’ve ever met. When our paths crossed again in Boston, I was doubly blessed to reestablish our friendship as professionals. As a colleague Randi was respected by everyone: lawyers, support staff and clients. She got the work done, did it extremely well, and yet always managed to maintain her trademark smile even under a tight deadline. She even made the transition from single college girl to married young professional to young mother look easy. Randi’s life was far too short, but the gift of her laughter and kindness and the example of her strength will be with her family and friends forever.

  7. We were so sad to hear of Randi’s passing and are praying that you all are strengthened at this time by her love and your love for each other. I can not imagine the loss of mother and wife and how hard this must be. Sending much love, Patricia & Carter

  8. It was my good fortune to meet Randi at the infusion center at Georgetown Hospital. Please accept my sincere sympathy for your loss.

  9. Phil, Steven & Lauren: Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Please know that the wonderful memories will help you through this.

  10. Dear Family of Randi, Having had the pleasure of getting to know Randi’s sister Sharon, I know what an amazing person Randi must have been. I am so sorry that the world and her loved ones could not have had her longer, and that she can’t be alive and living to a ripe age. My heart goes out to all of you. With hugs and love, Karen Sher in New Orleans
