Doris Everett Culhane

Doris Everett Culhane passed away on September 2, 2024.She was born in Washington, DC and moved to McLean in 1970. She maintained a second home in Ocean City, MD. Doris became an avid international traveler and took extensive and lengthy trips to over 100 countries and over 30 Caribbean islands.

She was a 1957 graduate of Bethesda Chevy Chase High School and attended the University of Maryland. She worked at law firms in both Bethesda and Silver Spring, MD and at the BDM Corporation in McLean. Later she served as a computer specialist at the Computer Sciences Corporation until her 2004 retirement. He final days were spent at an assisted living facility in Great Falls, Virginia.

Survivors include her husband of over 55 years, Joseph James Culhane of McLean; three children, William Austin of Centreville, VA, Glen Culhane of Richmond, VA, Melanie Culhane Speilman of Sterling, VA; and two granddaughters, Madison Speilman and Mackenzie Speilman. Private arrangements are handled by Money and King in Vienna, VA.
