  1. I will miss my Dorothy (Precious Adorable was my nickname for her)greatly. Not only was she a wonderful neighbor but she was also a best friend. Will miss our latte’s together and all of her solid life’s advice. She was a BIG personality that I will remember fondly always. My heart goes out to Jamie, Mark and Tim and family. Sincerely, Melissa Rowe Rotonda Resident and friend

  2. Jamie, Mark and Tim, My sincere sympathy goes out to all of you during this extremely difficult time. Mrs. Loomis definitely had a warm spot in my heart and was always excellent at giving the best advice on life lessons. I really enjoyed our lunches together. She helped me in so many ways during some challenging years. Most importantly she has raised a wonderful woman who has touched my life as well – what a legacy she has to live on!! If there is anything I can do, please let me know – my heart is heavy for all of you- Love and Hugs, Donna

  4. We will miss Dorothy. We are Rotonda residents in Building 5 and also members of St Thomas Episcopal Church. She has been in our prayers.

  5. I have known Dorothy for 45 years and she was a great friend. I will miss her terribly. I hope she is playing bridge with the best of them!! Love, Ruth

  6. Dear Jamie, Please get in touch with me. I am so sorry for your loss. I just learned about. I was trying to find either of you and this is what I found. I am so sorry we lost contact. Your Mom was always such a dear friend and like a big sister to Mom. I am sure they are all together now. That is my hope. So many memories of your Mom but particularly near the end of my Mom’s life when she would come over and was so good to my Mom as always. Your Mom was one of the few that Mom would let into her world particularly as the end drew near. I know how close you were to her and how much you must miss her. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Though I know it has been a bit over a year now it still hurts and especially as it really registers that we won’t see them again in this life. Warm Regards, Laura

  7. Hi Jamie, I apoligize for the odd way of contacting you and I hope this gets to you. I am the person who purchased the 65 Mustang from your Mom. We still have the car and drive it often. We even nicknamed it Dorothy! We think of your Mom every time we take it out. If you get this please give me a call 703-898-2573. Blessed regards, Steve
